What is Vitamin & Mineral IV Therapy?

Nutritive Intravenous Therapy (or Nutritive IV Therapy) is one of the many specialized services we provide at the D4D Health & Wellness Medical Center. The goal of IV Therapy is to infuse a high dosage of vitamins and minerals for immediate use by the body.

IV therapy also ensures that a specified amount of nutrients enters the body and takes the guesswork out of what the intestines can actually absorb. As a result of bypassing the intestines, much higher levels of vitamins and minerals can be delivered to the system than what is possible with oral supplementation. Each formulation is created with the patient's unique needs in mind. The end results are enhanced recovery time from illness and the prevention of relapse.

What health conditions is Nutritive IV Therapy used for?

Nutritive IV Therapy is prescribed as an adjunctive therapy for:
  • Acute and Chronic Viral Infections
  • Bronchitis and Asthma
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Adrenal Burnout and Chronic Fatigue
  • Cancer
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Digestive Disorders
  • Muscle Spasms and Low Back Pain
  • Vitamin and Mineral Deficiencies
  • Heavy Metal Toxicity

How many treatments will I need until I feel better?

For acute conditions and illnesses, patients can experience relief or improvement within one to four treatments. For chronic conditions and illnesses, five or more treatments may be necessary before a maintenance program is prescribed. Maintenance IV treatments are often spaced one to four weeks apart. Your doctor will discuss an appropriate program for your specific health issues.

What can I expect when I come in for an appointment?

If you are new to the Center, your initial appointment is one hour, during which time one of our qualified doctors on staff will discuss the following with you:
  • Your health goals
  • Current symptoms
  • Current medications, both prescribed and over-the-counter
  • Current nutritional supplements
  • Current diet, exercise and sleep habits
  • Current stress level
  • Past and/or current lab results
  • Major body systems

After a complete evaluation, you will receive your first IV treatment. At the end of your visit, you will receive recommendations in one or more of the following areas to enhance the restoration of health and improve your nutritional status. You will be amazed at how much better you will feel. It truly does make a difference and adds quality to your life.
